Musical Influences:
My dad, who opened my mind to a great amount of awesome music. Vocal inspiration has come from David Vincent, Varg Vikernes, Rainer Landferman, Jan-Chris de Koeyer, Spiros Antoniou, Mikael Akerfeldt, Dan Swano, Martin Van Drunen, Karl Willets.
Personal experiences that influence you musically:
I try not to write about anything too specific, so prefer not to dwell on specific experiences. However, the experiences I’ve had have helped to form my ideology, from which I gain inspiration.
How and when did you get involved with music:
I’ve always enjoyed listening to music, but my first stab at trying to create music came in the form of Regurgitated Gonads, which consisted of my friend Simon and I. I think I was 14 at the time. The “band” consisted of Simon on guitar and some vocals, and me on lead vocals and percussion, and even the occasional synth. We were basically an acoustic gore-inspired grind band that never developed beyond the bedroom.
Describe your musical ethos:
First and foremost, to create the kind of music that I would like to hear. To conduct my art with integrity and honour.
Favourite films:
I generally don’t care much for films. Having said that, I have a diverse taste covering most genres. Top of the list would be “Monty Pythons The Life Of Brian”
Favourite books:
I tend to read mainly non-fiction, particularly biographies. As far as fiction goes, I enjoy the work of Richard Laymon very much.
Favourite quotes:

Other life interests:
There’s not much beyond music, but I do enjoy nature, in particular its solitude and beauty. I also enjoy travelling and often combine the two.
Favourite country: A toss up between Finland, Slovenia and Switzerland.
Favourite food: Indian, or any flesh
