Personal experiences that influence you musically:
Watching, listening, breathing in and feeling the world around me struggle to be born, fight to live and agonise to die.
How and when did you get involved with music:
Music was there from day one in my life. It became important to me when it became the outlet of my untold sorrow for a personal loss. It became my lifeblood when I first played before an audience. There is nothing to compare to the feeling of 4,500 people jumping up and down to the beat of you bass drum.
Describe your musical ethos:
Music is vibrant, alive, breathing; dynamic, evolving and capricious. To lock it into forms and words, images and sentences, scores and tapes is to take away its soul. To play it for one’s pleasure is to play with oneself. To play it with another is to play the heartbeat of life
